What if you are wrong?

刚刚在写作业算到最后根本无法演算了.忽然想到了一句话,’what if you are wrong’.遂记录到Notes上.完了google了一下,发现了一个有趣的故事:

一.Richard Dawkins – “What if you’re wrong?”

Richard Dawkins是牛津大学教授,进化生物学家.他因一本<自私的基因>成名(看过书名n次,没读过).最近又出了一本 <The God Delusion>,用大量的言辞否定了神的存在.这是他在美国某大学关于The God Delusion演讲后某位观众一个simplest问题,’what if you are wrong?’.
确实听不懂,所以找了有英文字幕的,还是看不懂,所以自己仔细翻译了一下:
"Well, what if I'm wrong? I mean, anybody could be wrong.
嗯,如果我错了? 我是说每个人都有可能犯错误.
We could all be wrong about the Flying Spaghetti Monster and the Pink
Unicorn and the Flying Teapot.

我可能在关于(对)'飞天意粉怪','粉红独角兽','(罗素)的飞茶壶'(的看法)上都是错误的.

You happened to have been brought up, I presume, in the Christian faith.
我假设,你可能恰巧在一个有着基督信仰的环境(家庭)被抚养长大.

You know what it's like not to believe in a particular faith, because
you're not a Muslim, you're not a Hindu.
你容易想象不信仰某些宗教的样子,因为你不信穆斯林,不信印度教.

Why aren't you a Hindu? Because you happened to have
been brought up in America, not in India. If you have been brought
up in India, you'd be a Hindu.
为什么你不信仰印度教?因为你恰巧出生在美国,不是印度. 如果你出生于印度的话,你
很可能就是印度教徒了.

If you were brought up in Denmark in the time of the Vikings, you'd be
believing in Wotan and Thor.
如果你出生于维京时代的丹麦,那么你很可能一直信仰沃坦(西日尔曼民族信仰的神)
和托尔(北欧神话中司雷、战争及农业的神)

If you were brought up in Classical Greece, you'd be believing in Zeus.
如果你出生于古希腊,那么你会信仰着宙斯(希腊神话主神).

If you were brought up in Central Africa, you'd be believing in the
Great Juju up the mountain.
如果你出生于中非,那么你会信仰山中的祖祖(非洲的一钟巫术).

There's no particular reason to pick on the Judeo-Christian god, in which
by the sheerest accident you happened to have been brought up
(to believe), and ask me the question what if I'm wrong.
你选择了犹太基督教没有什么特别的利用,只是很单纯的你一场出生地点的
意外(而信仰此)而已.你问我如果我错了?

What if you're wrong about the Great Juju at the bottom of the sea?"
你为什么不问问你自己:对于海底下的伟大祖祖,如果你也错了来?"

‘What if you are wrong’,大湿就是大湿,以彼之道,还施彼身,反问了观众一句’what if you are wrong’.

二.What if I am wrong!

暂且不去讨论大湿闲得egg pains去讨论神的存在性并只身跑去虔诚基督徒那传道.大湿或者太学术了反而忘记了存在即是合理性的道理.单就大湿视频里的回答来看还是有小智慧和小聪明的.还施彼身.慕容家的以彼之道,还施彼身确实名扬江湖,对付一个手无寸铁的学生还是可以,但如果对手是乔峰呢?不信你可以把十八掌全盘施回去.一句what if you are wrong回答的从容,细看来,是苍白.

现代人总是害怕自己被否定.他们活得很累,或者说很无私,无私是因为他们所做的事情仅仅都是为了在意不让别人去否定.一个连目标都错误的人他们的努力是不是可以用无私来形容呢.天下熙熙皆为利来，天下攘攘皆为利往,可就在熙熙攘攘之外还有许许多多的人在不停的为这个本以繁忙的世界增添着繁忙的假象?记得一句有趣的话:这个世界都在假装清纯,我只好假装不清纯.大家都在害怕被否定,那我为什么不自我否定呢.自我否定,放低自己,认识自己,比别人更先一步了解你自己.当你被别人否定的时候起码你可以告诉自己我已经自我否定了,一点点中国式的阿Q.

What if I am wrong! 不是失去自信,是巩固.

What if I am wrong! 是冷静,是think twice,是think before you do.

What if I am wrong! 自我否定之后是穿起自己的鞋走自己的路.

What if you are wrong? 这个问题请留给自己,常常站出来问自己.

至少你在提问别人之前,请先自己回答这个问题.我假定视频里的那个学生自己回答自己了. What if I am wrong?
