数字的特殊意义

毕达哥拉斯一生做了两件事情，从事神职工作和兴办学校。他认为我们生活中的多数事物只是匆匆过客，随时都会消亡，唯有数和神是永恒的。这里的数值的是自然数，他对10以下的数都赋予了某种特殊的意义：

1 是一切数的源泉，是阳性中的至高者——阿波罗。

2 是众神之母。

3 代表了三维，后来被基督教用来表示三位一体。

4 象征着一年四季和人的四大能力——智性，知识，判断，感觉。

5 是婚姻数，它等于最小的偶数2与1（万物之泉）以外的第一个奇数3之和。（香烟品牌555是不是意味着人要结3次婚？？）

6 不仅完美（完美数），而且是神灵的数，古希腊人认为人转世的周期是216年（6的3次方）。

7 不能分解，是处女数。

8 象征着和谐，友谊，正立方体有8个面。

9 是10以内最大的平方数，所以是公正的。

10 是前4个数之和，完美又神圣。

说出来不怕大家笑话，美国生活囧事续。

某天突发奇想，觉得室内的辐射太大了，我都能感觉到，晚上做了个梦，说要买2盆仙人掌吸收辐射。第二天跑去Korger只买了一盆，话说太贵了。6.99刀。生命诚可贵嘛！

这几天，天天看着觉得这个仙人掌怪怪的。今晚猛一看，然后查了下字典，发现。#4 ALOE IN RED FIRST AID CROSS。ALOE: 芦荟；龙舌兰。杯具就杯具在不认识英语单词啊。仙人掌不叫，God’s Hands，叫Cactus。

Universe in mathmatical shapes

Plato proposed that the universe could be crystallised into five regular symmetrial shapes, now called Platonic solids .

The tetrahedron(四面体) represented fire;
The icosahedron(二十面体) represented water;
The stable cube(立方体) was Earth;
The eight-faced octahedron(八面体) was air;
The dodecahedron(十二面体), was reserved for the shape which captured Plato’s view of the universe.

Euclid’s Elements proved that there are only five Platonic solids. It captures the power of mathematics, it’s one thing to build five symmetrical solids, quite another to come up with a watertight, logical argument for why there can’t be a sixth!

Twilight Saga Eclipse

看完了暮光之城第三部, Eclipse.很商业了.貌似所以的续集都逃不掉这个结局,比如说Shrek.玩具总动员本来就都没看过,不好说.

看Twilight第一部是觉得比较养眼的.虽然douban上n多人鄙视,整个想琼瑶片等等.到第三部万众期待Bella是否要变身vampire.看完了,发现又被吊了一次胃口…

通篇还是比较喜欢那首极度悲伤的There is possibility…
